Pals for pALS is dedicated to helping families in the Greater Cincinnati region affected by ALS with non-medical needs. ALS is a devastating disease that affects the whole family in many ways. One way the family is affected is by eliminating the pALS ability to perform tasks around the home. Pals for pALS seeks to provide assistance with these tasks. 

The following are examples of items that may be funded:

• Meal prep assistance. 
• Laundry and light housekeeping. 
• Yearly yard maintenance/cleanup (does not include weekly tasks like grass cutting).
• Small handyman services.

The following are items that will not be funded

• Transportation services.
• Therapy.
• Medical treatment or assistance.

The organization will review the following factors when considering whether to approve a request for assistance :

• Completion of the Application Form. The application must be completed in its entirety. Partially completed Application Forms will not be considered.
• Amount of Assistance Required. Is this a one time need or is it an ongoing need.  
• Household Income. While there is no income cap, lower-income families will be granted priority over higher-income families.
• Funds Required. Can the task be performed by a volunteer or is a paid service required. 
• Must reside in the Greater Cincinnati region.
